The Vineyard is a community of churches partnered together to advance the Kingdom of God by communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed to a despairing world. Currently there are more than 1,200 churches in The Vineyard Movement worldwide.
Our story is about ordinary people who worship and serve an extraordinary God. The Vineyard Movement was founded upon a vulnerable openess to God, and a willingness to partner with His Spirit. Led by John Wimber, a group of pioneering people hungry for more of God's authentic, personal presence (the Holy Spirit), began to pray; and the Lord "showed up"!
