Ministry Team

One of the most defining ministries in the Vineyard is the Ministry Team. Our primary purpose is to provide a church home where people in our community may mature in their relationship with God as they are equipped as disciples of Jesus Christ, and ministry is integral in offering prayer in all celebration services and more.

We offer, on a regular basis, an altar ministry equipped for providing salvation, healing, and/or deliverance. We pray up front so we can: give our congregation a time to offer their confessions publicly, and show their contrite hearts before the Lord; demonstrate our trust in the Lord’s love for us and His desire to heal, thereby setting captives free; and have a visible demonstration of God’s glory for all to celebrate. We understand that most of those people that come forward are dealing with normal human fears, at least, with many needing to overcome high anxiety and apprehension. Therefore, we believe careful handling of the human aspects carries a high value. Our desire is to not only deliver the person from an infirmity or a dilemma but, where applicable, to help them become part of the community of Christ.

Lastly, we want to give members of our church the opportunity to heal the sick and pray for all kind of human discomfort. We train our ministry team on many levels of prayer and make them available in our celebration services as prayers to those requesting it.
