Marriage & Family

Nowhere is love more tested than in our marriages and with our families. Mike and Marla Maynard, pastors of our Marriage and Family Ministry, are committed to helping couples live out their part in God's larger story by establishing Biblical patterns of relating that keep marriages alive and provide a safe haven to raise children who will live with those same Biblical patterns.

The Marriage Course is offered in the spring of every year. The first eight weeks are held here at the church and provide instruction as well as a safe place to talk through the real issues and struggles of marriage. The eight weeks conclude with a special week-end retreat. The course then continues with an eight-week Discipleship Group that meets in the home of one of the participants.

The Parenting Course is offered in the fall of every year. It is an eight-week class with all meeting being held here at the church. The course offers instruction as well as a safe place to talk through the real issues and struggles of parenting. The eight weeks conclude with a family camp out.
